The Eureka programme is a European intergovernmental initiative aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of European Industry through international cooperation in R&D.
It involves the world’s biggest public network of ministries and funding agencies from >45 countries, providing access to public funding for international R&D projects, particularly for SMEs.
The programme is flexible and open to various organisations, including start-ups, large companies and research institutes, focusing on the development of close-to-market products, processes and services.
