The New European Bauhaus

The New European Bauhaus Facility 2025-2027 is a new and unique funding tool for the New European Bauhaus (NEB). It is an initiative of the European Union that fosters the development and scaling up of innovative solutions for the transformation of neighbourhoods to become not only sustainable, but also inclusive and beautiful.

An NEB info day was held on 24 February 2026, streamed online: recordings are now available.

The EU Missions Info Days on 20 and 21 January (recordings available), and the EU Missions brokerage events on 28 and 29 January, also covered some joint calls which include the New European Bauhaus. EU Missions brokerage signup will remain open until 30 September 2026.

For 2026-27, the NEB calls are divided into three Destinations:

  • Connecting the green transformation, social inclusion and local democracy
  • Circular and regenerative approaches for the built environment
  • Innovative funding and new business models for the transformation of neighbourhoods
