Innovate UK Innovation Loans: Fuelling Late-Stage Innovation
The Innovate UK Innovation Loans: Future Economy programme offers flexible, affordable loans to UK-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) aiming to accelerate the commercialisation of late-stage research and development (R&D) projects.
These loans are designed to support innovations that have a clear route to market and the potential to significantly impact the UK economy.

- Loan Amount: Between £100,000 and £2 million.
- Loan Term: Up to 7 years, including:
- Availability Period: Up to 3 years for project execution.
- Extension Period: Up to 2 years for commercialisation activities.

- Interest Rates:
- Availability & Extension Periods: 3.7% per annum.
- Repayment Period: 7.4% per annum.

- Be a UK-registered SME.
- Carry out the project work in the UK.
