Overview
The AgriScale – Accelerating Agri-tech Manufacturing: Experimental Development competition is a funding opportunity delivered by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). It provides up to £8 million to support collaborative projects that accelerate the manufacturing and commercialisation of agri-tech innovations.
The competition focuses on late-stage development, enabling innovators to improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturing and supply chain capability in order to achieve production at scale. Projects must demonstrate how they will move technologies closer to manufacturing readiness and market adoption.
As part of the wider AgriScale programme, the aim is to help bridge the gap between prototype and large-scale production, ensuring that innovative agricultural technologies can be brought to market faster, drive end-user adoption, and support UK agricultural productivity and sustainability. The competition is open to collaborations led by UK-registered businesses.
Award & Project Duration
Award: Up to £8 Million.
Project: Projects should last between 6 and 18 months with total costs of no more than £3 million.
